"Christmas Memories" filled the halls of East Penn Elementary School recently as the third and fourth grade students performed the annual Christmas program.

"We are very proud of our students' talents and accomplishments during our annual holiday program under the direction of Mrs. Susan Stufflet, East Penn / Franklin music teacher," said Elementary Principal Suzanne Howland. "Mrs. Stufflet and the children start preparing months in advance and put on an amazing show for our school and community."Under the direction of Stufflet, the program opened with "A Holly Jolly Christmas" by Johnny Marks. The chime ensemble followed with "Silver and Gold," as arranged by Stufflet. Next, the third grade students performed "It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas" by Meredith Willson and "The Day We Decorate Our Christmas Tree."The Hanukkah portion of the program included "Hanukkah's Child" by Linda Swears and Aileen Fisher's "Light the Festive Candles." Taylor Mickley and Arerielle Searfoss on bass xylophones; Jared DeSanto and Collin Wentz on alto xylophones; and Kira Hartman on metallophone presented "Hanukkah Time" - followed by "Hanukkah Comes" by Swears.Next, the students performed "Holiday Wishes" by Joanna Fuchs and Don Costa's "Christmas Mem'ries."Stufflet's arrangement of "Here We Come A-Caroling" was presented by the chime ensemble. This was followed by the fourth graders' rendition of "Hear the Good News" by Dennis Allen. Soloists Zachary Fisher and Emma Hall were featured in Mac Huff's arrangement of "Do You Hear What I Hear."Kyle Burbage and Austin Kern on bass xylophones; Izabell Garcia and Olivia Schuster on alto xylophones; and Nathan Carr on metallophone performed "Child of God" - followed by Huff's arrangement of "A Caroling We Go Medley."The chime ensemble presented Stufflet's arrangement of "Angels From the Realms of Glory." The program concluded with "Christmas Comes From the Heart" by Teresa Jennings and Mary Donnelly's "A New Year's Wish.""As always, the students have worked very hard in preparation for today's program," concluded Stufflet.
