Brett A. Hunsicker, 18, of Orefield, has been cited by state police at the Fogelsville barracks with failure to drive at a safe speed after a two-vehicle accident at 7:32 a.m. Nov. 27 along Route 100 in Lowhill Township.

Police said he was driving a 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier northbound when he failed to stop in time for vehicles that had stopped in front of his vehicle. Police said the front portion of the Cavalier struck the rear of a 2012 Ford F-150 driven by Michael J. Wetzel, 49, of Lansford.Neither driver was injured.Police said both vehicles were moved from the lane of travel.
