Donnell Snyder, 39, of Easton, has been arrested by state police at the Fogelsville barracks with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of a small amount of marijuana and tampering with evidence.

Police said the charges stem from an incident at 2:58 a.m. Dec. 27 along Route 309 northbound in South Whitehall Township.Police said he was stopped for several traffic violations, after which time police said he displayed multiple signs of impairment.Police said prior to stopping the vehicle, police observed Snyder throw a plastic bag from the vehicle. The item was retrieved and found to contain the marijuana.
