State police at the Fogelsville barracks are investigating a burglary that was reported at 6:30 a.m. Dec. 20 in Upper Milford Township.

Police said the victim is James E. Effting, 51, of the 4500 block of Main Road West, Emmaus, Upper Milford Township.Police said the victim's wife heard a door open in their residence. After the victim searched the residence, he did not see anyone inside or outside the home. Nothing was disturbed or taken, police said.
