Trinity Lutheran Church, Lehighton, will hold its Fourth Sunday of Advent worship at 9 a.m., Dec. 23, with the Rev. Richard Hinkle presiding. A nursery is available for children through age 6 during the worship service. All are invited to coffee house fellowship following the service in Luther Hall.
Sunday School "Power Hour" begins at 10:15 a.m. for ages 3 through adults. The Sunday School will not meet Dec. 30.
The schedule for Christmas Eve worship Services: 7 p.m. for a Family Service, featuring the Trinity Praise Band, with Holy Communion and a 11 p.m. Candlelight Service, with Holy Communion. Special music 20 minutes before the start of each service. The Rev. Carl Schweitzer presides at both services.
The final radio broadcast of Trinity's one-week delayed worship service is Sunday, Dec. 30, at 8:30 a.m. on WLSH (1410 AM).
The Trinity Thrift Store will be closed during the week of Christmas, Dec. 25-29.
Food Pantry recipients scheduled for fourth Tuesday distribution, will be able to pick up food from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 26.
The community is invited to a free New Year's dinner of pork and sauerkraut in Luther Hall on Jan. 1, from noon to 2 p.m. Those planning to attend are asked to call the church office at (610) 377-4303 in advance so that a proper amount of food is prepared. (Snow date is Jan. 2).
The church office is closing at noon on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, and will be closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
