Members of the Lansford AMVETS Post will meet on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m. at the post home.

Commander Steve Banditelli will be in charge of the session.The AMVETS members remind the public the post is participating in the annual Toys for Tots program and has a large box there where residents can donate their Christmas gift items for children. Those donating to the program should wrap the present and mark on it whether it is for a boy or girl, as well as indicating the age group the gift falls into.
