Stacie Surotchak, daughter of Bruce and Anna Mae Surotchak of Tamaqua, and Richard Jasinski Jr., son of Richard and Suzanne Jasinski of Lake View, New York, were united in marriage on June 2, 2012 at The Jefferson House on Lake Hopatcong, N.J.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Alexander Baker.The bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride's cousin. Dana Rottet of Tamaqua, was chosen as her maid of honor. Rachel McGuire of Dickson City, was chosen as the bride's matron of honor.Gina Ferrante of Hackettstown, N.J. was a bridesmaid.The bridegroom chose his brother, Nicholas Jasinski of Lake View, to serve as his best man.Groomsman included Jeff Devinney of Lake View and Stephen Surotchak, brother of the bride, also from Tamaqua.A reception was held following the ceremony at The Jefferson House. The couple later honeymooned on a cruise to San Juan, St. Thomas, and Grand Turk.The new Mrs. Jasinski is a 2004 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School. In 2008 she graduated from Marywood University with a bachelor of science degree in communication sciences and disorders. She received her masters of science degree in 2010.She is employed as a speech-language pathologist at a subacute rehabilitation center in Succasunna, N.J.Mr. Jasinski graduated from Frontier Central High School and entered the U.S. Navy in 1999. He currently has his red seal stationary engineers license and is employed as a lead operations and maintenance technician at a cogeneration plant in Elmwood Park, N.J.
