Four criminal jury trials got underway this morning in the Schuylkill County court including a case involving a Coaldale man who faces charges of simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.

George Joseph Bonetsky, 34, of 262 Fourth St., is on trial before Judge Jacqueline Russell on charges filed by Coaldale Patrolman Scott Cramer.Kyle C. Kent, 32, Mount Carmel, is on trial before Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin on charges of aggravated assault, kidnapping, burglary, criminal trespass, terroristic threats, stalking, unlawful restraint, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person brought by Trooper John Powis.Shannon Kiley Reed, 29, Pottsville, is on trial before President Judge William E. Baldwin on charges of delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal use of communication facility, and possession of a controlled substance brought by Pottsville Patrolman Richard J. Pugh.Erik S. Miller, 33, Shenandoah, is on trial before Judge Charles M. Miller on charges of two counts each of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and three counts of possession of a controlled substance as charged by Mahanoy City Patrolman Jonathan McHugh.
