Members and volunteers of the Tamaqua Community Partnership are holding a free open stage tonight at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center, 125 Pine Street.

The event is hosted by Jack Kulp, Kathy Rimm and other volunteers. They encourage all ages and levels of talent to participate.

Sign-up starts at 5:30 p.m., and the show lasts from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Organizers point out that this is not a karaoke event, and performers are asked bring their own instruments with one mic being provided.

Members recommend small amps and small drum kit and to bring nothing bigger than 2 x 12 combo and or five piece drum kit with high hat & cymbals.
