Mrs. Jane Habel, the Director of Religious Education for the parishes of St. Jerome and SS. Peter and Paul in Tamaqua, has announced the first day of CCD classes for children in grades 1-6 will be Sept. 9. Returning students should complete the Updated Family Information Form that was emailed to their homes and return the form, with the registration fee, to the Religious Education Office at 250 W. Broad St, Tamaqua.

New students will need an appointment to complete registration forms as well as a letter showing parish membership at either St. Jerome or SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. New students will also need a copy of their baptismal and birth certificates.Registration fees remain the same as the 2011-2012 school year; $100 for one child, $175 for 2 children, and $225 for 3 children.The Religious Education Office has moved to a new location at 250 W. religioused@sjctamaqua.org.A Parent Meeting will be held this Tuesday, Aug. 21, at 6 p.m., in the Saint Jerome Regional School. A new Parent Handbook will be distributed listing updates to the policies of the Religious Education Program. One parent from each family should plan to attend.
