The West End Rotary Club (WERC) Holiday Greeting Card contest chairman/chairwoman, Honi Gruenberg, center and WERC President Jill Rehrig, right, congratulate this year's winners of the Holiday Greeting Card contest WERC sponsors each year for Pleasant Valley Middle School 6th and 7th grade students. Shannon's drawing will be this year's 2012 Holiday Greeting Card that WERC will print for sale to the public. Each of the three students received a plaque featuring their drawing, a pack of Holiday Greeting cards of their drawing and artist kits. "I can't believe I won. I never thought anything of mine would someday be available to sell," said Shannon, who loves to draw in her spare time but hopes to someday be a published author.
