State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a hit-and-run accident that occurred in a parking lot of a Schuylkill County restaurant.

Troopers said the incident occurred about 1:28 a.m. on Aug. 3 in the lot of the McDonald's restaurant located at 928 E. Main St., North Manheim Township.Troopers said an early 1990s model white in color sedan backed out of a parking space and struck the side of a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado damaging the driver's side rear. The driver of the sedan then fled south on SR61. The owner of the struck vehicle was identified as Wayne Pace, of Orwigsburg.
