HARRISBURG – State Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) will host a number of free legislative outreach breakfasts for residents of the 122nd District, including one that will be held on Thursday, from 8 to 9 a.m., at the Mahoning Valley Fire Company, 2358 Mahoning Drive West.

"Events like this serve as an opportunity for me to touch base with my constituents and address their legislative concerns," Heffley said. "I'm hoping for a good turnout and looking forward to the chance to answer any questions about local and state issues."

Here's a list of other free breakfasts that will be held in Carbon County this month:

Ÿ Thursday, Aug. 16, from 8 to 9 a.m., at Phifer Ice Dam Pack 880 Main Road in Lehighton.

Ÿ Wednesday, Aug. 22, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the American Legion, 3 W. Ridge St. in Lansford.

Ÿ Thursday, Aug. 30, from 9 to 10 a.m., at the Palmerton Area Library, 402 Delaware Ave.

Because seating is limited at each of these locations, Heffley encourages anyone planning to attend one of the breakfasts to contact one of his district offices to reserve a spot.
