Carbon County Chamber of Commerce and the Carbon Builders Association will present the 2012 Carbon County Home, Garden and Business Expo at the Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall on the weekend of April 28-29.
The Expo will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This year's expanded Expo promises to be an extremely worthwhile springtime event and feature something for everyone. Along with a variety of exciting and informative home, garden and business exhibits, visitors will have the opportunity to consult with industry experts and attend one of the many educational seminars offered throughout the weekend.
There will be a variety of family oriented activities and everyone can enter for the chance to win various door prizes as well as the grand prize drawing, a $900 Weber Grill, courtesy of R.F. Ohl.
There will be display booths on the main floor and lower level as well as outdoor displays under the outside pavilion.

The Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall is located off Route 903 at East 10th Street in Jim Thorpe. Parking is free.
Those who bring a donation of a nonperishable food item to benefit various Carbon County area food banks will receive $1 off admission. An additional $1 off with admission coupon available from local area merchants and newspapers.
