State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers recently on Schuylkill County roadways.

Troopers investigated a hit and run accident reported to have occurred sometime between 10 p.m. Friday, April 20, and 4:15 a.m. on Saturday.

Troopers said an unknown vehicle was traveling northbound on Spring St., in Tremont, when it crossed the double yellow line and struck a parked 2007 Toyota Camry on the passenger side. After impact the driver fled the scene.

The parked car is owned by Eugene P. Kessock Jr., 45, of Tremont.

A one vehicle crash was reported about 3:50 a.m. Saturday, April 21, on SR895 in West Brunswick Township. Troopers said Bradley J. Kramer, 31, of Orwigsburg, was driving a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant eastbound when it went onto the right berm and struck mailboxes. It continued along the berm and then struck a tree with the left front end, flipped onto it roof, and came to rest.

Kramer and his passenger, Beth Stamm, 30, of Orwigsburg, were injured and taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville. Troopers cited Bradley for driving on roadways laned for traffic.

A one vehicle crash was reported about 6:07 p.m. on Saturday along Sweet Arrow Lake Road, in Washington Township. Troopers said Jeremy R. Gorey, 19, of Schuylkill Haven, was operating a 1994 Nissan XE/S westbound and failed to negotiate a left curve. Gorey overcompensated, troopers said, and lost control causing the car to overturn onto the passenger side.

After overturning the car slid a short distance and struck a utility pole off the north side.

Gorey and his passenger, Kimberly J. Scanlan, 17, of Saint Clair, were injured and treated at the scene by medical personnel.

Troopers cited Gorey for driving too fast for conditions.
