State police at the Fern Ridge barracks were summoned April 15 at 3 p.m. to Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, to investigate a terroristic threat case.

Police said the victim is Jammie Silverthorn, 26, of Effort.Police said a friend of the victim received threatening text messages and telephone calls regarding the victim. Police said charges will not be filed, but police recommended the victim obtain a Protection From Abuse order through the county court.
