Trinity Church events

This Sunday, April 22, is designated as Youth Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. 3rd St., at the 9 a.m. service. The youth of the congregation will be the leaders: greeters, ushers, lectors, and deliver the sermon. The Trinity Praise Band featuring vocalists, percussion and guitars will have the musical format in a contemporary style of worship. All are invited to attend.

Next Sunday, April 29, will include a Service of Healing at the 9 a.m. worship. The Service of Healing features prayers, anointing with oil of blessing, and laying on of hands to those who are troubled with physical, emotional, social burdens. It is hoped that all who are sick would be made whole and their burdens lightened for the journey.

The final session for Sunday Church School is May 20. Classes will resume in September.

Trinity will host a community Vacation Bible School June 17-21 (Sunday to Thursday, 6:30-8:30 p.m. The theme: "Operation Overboard. Dare to go Deep with God"). It is free and open to children in the community 3 years old through grade six. Registration is necessary. Call the church office at (610) 377-4303 with name and age of children by June 10.
