Unknown criminals showed no holiday spirit when they removed four Easter cards from a mailbox in Monroe County, opened them, and then discarded them.
State police at Fern Ridge said the incident occurred at the residence of Johnny J. Aseltine, 32, of 1210 Sacher Lane, Camp Streamside, Jackson Township.He reported the four cards were removed from his mailbox sometime between 10:30 a.m. on April 3 and 10 a.m. on April 4.He found them opened and lying on the ground nearby.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 646-2271.
