State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating three crashes on Monday, April 1, along Monroe County roadways.

A crash occurred about 4:15 p.m. along SR715, in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Michael Wasco, 16, of Saylorsburg, was operating a 1997 Subaru Legacy northbound when he crossed over the southbound lane and onto the left shoulder. The front end of the Legacy then collided into a utility pole. Upon impact the car spun and came to rest with its rear end resting against a tree.

Wasco was not injured but the vehicle had to be towed from the scene. Troopers cited Wasco for driving on roadways laned for traffic.

A one-vehicle crash occurred about 4:39 p.m. along Possinger Road, in Jackson Township. Troopers said Bonnie L. Maurer, 39, of Reeders, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Sierra truck southbound when the passenger side wheel dropped off the road causing her to lose control. The truck spun around and overturned onto the passenger side facing north.

Maurer was not injured.

A one -vehicle crash was reported at 9:30 p.m. along SR715 in Jackson Township. Troopers said Julia M. Chan, 35, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country van southbound and said she felt a northbound vehicle was too close to her and she swerved off the road and struck a utility pole. After impact the van continued and struck a second pole on the opposite side of the road.

Chan was not injured.
