State police at Frackville are investigating an indecent assault incident that occurred at a restroom in the Schuylkill Mall, located in New Castle Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said a 16-year-old female from Pottsville reported the incident about 6:43 p.m. on Saturday, March 31.

According to troopers the female entered the restroom about 6:30 p.m. and while in a stall in the restroom, a black male entered the stall and assaulted her. He then fled the rest room.

An extensive search of the mall and its stores was conducted by mall security and troopers which had negative results.

The victim provided the following description of the suspect: black male, in his 20s, with dark complexion, about five-feet, 10-inches to six feet tall, thin build, thin oblong face, skinny nose, no facial hair, brown eyes; and was wearing a gray or black zip-up type hoodie and dark jeans/pants.

Troopers said the description is similar to one involved in another incident at the mall that occurred on March 8 in the same restroom.

That incident was investigated by township police.
