An estimated $16,100 has been grossed as the result of an auction sale conducted Saturday at the Carbon County Home, Laurytown, where farm equipment and livestock were put up on the block.

Curtis Houser, New Ringgold, conducted the auction, which was regarded as a success, having been attended by a large number of interested spectators.

The commissioners are planning to seek bids for leasing of the farm now that all of the equipment and livestock has been disposed of.
