Three Coaldale residents were among 21 who were admitted into the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition (ARD) probation program and President Judge William E. Baldwin in Schuylkill County court.

The program is reserved for first offenders and if they successfully complete all conditions imposed their record will be wiped clean.

All were placed for a year, unless otherwise noted.

Donald Anthony Faenza, of 2 Foster Avenue, Coaldale, cited by Coaldale Patrolman Jeremy Talanca, with disorderly conduct in the isolation room at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, was assessed $350 to defray cost of program, pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA) and perform 10 hours community service.

Marino Gabrieli,51, of 223 Second St., Coaldale, cited by Coaldale Patrolman Jeremy Talanca, with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol, assessed $500, pay $300 to Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, $50 to CJEA, attend alcohol highway safe driving school, perform 10 hours community service, and driver's license suspended $60 days. On a summary charge of faling to activate turn signals when required was fined $25 plus $50 costs.

Lawanna Young, 23, of 121 W. Lehigh St., Coaldale, cited by Coaldale Patrolman Jeremy Talanca, with three counts of endangering welfare of a child and one count of conspiracy, assessed $350, pay $50 to CJEA, and perform 10 hours community service. On a charge of driving without a license, fined $200; driving an unregistered vehicle, fined $75; and three counts of failling to use restraining system, fined $75 plus $150 in costs.

Frank Anthony Payne, 19, of 93 N. Kennedy Drive, McAdoo, cited by McAdoo Patrolman Keith Frederick, McAdoo, with DUI, was assessed $500, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA, $50 to Catastrophe fund, $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center, attend safety school, receive outpatient substance abuse treatment, perform 10 hours community service, and license suspended 90 days. On a charge of failing to properly use multi-beam road lighting equipment was fined $25 plus $50 costs.

Shane Michael Auman, 22, Pottsville, cited by Pottsville Patrolman John Mohl, with two counts of sellling or furnishing two 19 year old youths with alcohol beverages. was assessed $350, pay $50 to CJEA and perform 10 hours community service.

David William Beesley, 54, Auburn, cited by Trooper Eric Reber with DUI, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic, failing to drive at safe speed and careless driving when stopped on West Deerview Drive in South Manheim Township, was assessed $500, pay $300 to SAE fund, $50 to Catastrophe fund, $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center, undergo short-term outpatient substance abuse treatment, attend safety school, perform 10 hours community service and driver's license suspended 60 days. On a summary charge of disregarding a traffic lane was fined $25 plus costs.

John T. Connors, 46, Pottsville, cited by Pottsville Patrolman Richard J. Pugh, with striking the rear of a car driven by Zirley Antalosky in the 2500 block on West Market Street and failed to stop, assessed $350, pay $50 to CJEA, and perform 10 hours of community service. On a summary charge of duty to stop and give information was fined $25 plus $50 costs.

Christine Fisher, 38, Mahanoy City, cited by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman Warren G. Firing, with perjury for giving false information at a custody hearing in court and falsely incriminating another person, assessed $350, pay $50 to CJEA, and perform 15 hours of community service.

Justin Thomas Grimm, 23, 221 W. Lynnwood St., Allentown, cited by Tower City Sgt.
