A Tamaqua area man was among 13 defendants who entered guilty pleas to criminal charges in Schuylkill County court and were sentenced by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin.

Jarvis Eric York, 39, of 28A Stonehedge Lane, Tamaqua R.D., on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was placed on probation 12 months and ordered to pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA), and make restitution of $50 to district attorney's office for bench warrant. York was cited by Pottsville Patrolman Eugene M.Yourey.

David John Rambo, 24, Pottsville, on a charge of impersonating a public servant by claiming he was a Carbon County Deputy Coroner in a restaurant in Pottsville during an argument with a customer, was placed on probation 12 months, and pay $50 to CJEA. Rambo was cited by Patrolman Michael P. Stanek.

Hailey Lynn Sipple, 19. Minersville, on charges of criminal conspiracy and receiving stolen property was given credit for spending 95 days in the county prison and placed on probation 23 months, pay $50 to CJEA, and make restitution of $30 to Nicole Kursnoski, Minersville, victim, and $50 to district attorney's office for bench warrant. Sipple was cited by Minersville Patrolman Jeffrey R. Bowers.

Rebecca M. Hockman, 33, Orwigsburg, on a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) of drugs, was sentenced to serve 30 days in the county prison beginning Friday, Oct. 7, at 12 midnight, followed by four years and 11 months on probation in the Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP), fined $1,500, pay $300 to SAE fund, $100 to Catastrophe fund, attend alcohol highway safe driving school, receive intensive outpatient treatment, make restitution of $60 to Schuylkill Medical Center, and driver's license suspended 18 months. On a summary charge of failing to drive on right side of roadway was fined $25 plus $50 costs. Hockman was cited by Pottsville Patrolman Eugene M. Yourey.

Jodie Mowrer, 38, Schuylkill Haven, on a charge of simple assault and resisting arrest was placed on probation 12 months, and pay $50 to CJEA. Mowrer was cited by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman David T. George.

Shawn Michael Rakus, 29, Shenandoah, on a charge of theft by unlawful taking of laptop computers from Schuylkill Medical Center in Pottsville, was sentenced to serve one to 12 months in the county prison and is eligible for work release, pay $50 to CJEA, and make restitution of $3,596.24 to the medical center. Rakus was cited by Pottsville Det. Steve B Guers.

Katrina Lynn Reber, 22, Pottsville, on two counts of furnishing two cases of beer to two teenagers, 19 and 20 years of age, at an outlet store in Pottsville, was placed on probation 12 months, fined $2,000, pay $50 to CJEA, and make restitution of $239 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. Reber was cited by Pottsville Patrolman John Mohl.

Reber also pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (CS), possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and misbranding of a controlled substance and was sentenced to serve an additional 11 months on probation. She was cited by Pottsville Patrolman Eugene M. Yourey. Her total sentence was 23 months on probation.

Danielle M. Revinski, 26, Locust Dale, Butler Township, on a charge of retail theft of clothing from Walmart Store, Saint Clair, was placed on probation 11 months, and pay $50 to CJEA. She was cited by Saint Clair Patrolman Chad H. Seitzinger.

Robert Larry Rogers, 42, Pottsville, on a charge of simple assault of Anastasia Lee Kilraine, Pottsville, was given credit for spending 21 days in the county prison and placed on parole for 12 months, and pay $50 to CJEA. Rogers was cited by Pottsville Patrolman Eugene M. Yourey.

Jessica L. Sediva, 23, Minersville, on a charge of theft by taking cash from Dunkin Donuts, Pottsville, while an employee, was given credit for serving four days in the county prison and placed on parole for 12 months, pay $50 to CJEA, and make restitution of $264.58 to Dunkin Donuts.

Robert Vesay, 40, Tower City, on a charge of passing three bad checks to a fuel company was placed on probation for 18 months, pay $150 to CJEA, and make restitution of $1,033 to Shuey and Hoffman Fuels Company, Tower City. Vesay was cited by Tower City Sgt. John Boyer.

Lauren Wicker, 23, Shenandoah, on a charge of being involved in an accident in the parking lot of a shopping mall in Pottsville was placed on probation 12 months, pay $50 to CJEA, and perform 20 hours of community service. On a summary charge of failing to give stop at the scene of an accident was fined $25 plus $50 costs. Wicker was cited by Trooper Mark F. Baron.

Roscoe H. Wildrick, 54, Mahanoy City, on a charge of selling or furnishing alcohol beverage to a minor was placed on probation 12 months, fined $1,000, and pay $50 to CJEA. Wildrick was cited by Mahanoy City Michael Dissinger.

Each defendant must also pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
