Five properties in East Brunswick Township were among 35 properties which are located within the boundaries of Blue Mountain School District had their property values increased by the Schuylkill County Assessment Appeals Board after a hearing on the petition of the school district seeking increases.

The new assessed valuation of the 35 properties added $1,078,1110 to the total assessed valuation of the district on which real estate taxes are estimated. Last week the district obtained increases on 33 properties for an increase in assessment of $305,950. To date on 68 properties it has the assessment increased by $1.3 million. Increases placed on the 35 properties were as follows:

Tammy L. Waite, 160 Hillside Lane, East Brunswick Township, market value increased from $80,390 to $165,552 and assessment from $40,195 to $82,775, an increase of $42,580 in assessment.

Robert and Deborah Shaud, 499 Indian Run Road, East Brunswick Township, market value increased from $56,610 to $80,410 and assessment from $28,305 to $40,205, an increase of $11,900 in assessment.

Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Association, Kempton, owners of property at 128 Sawmill Lane, East Brunswick Township, market value increased from $115,710 to $146,630 and assessment from $57,855 to $73,315, an increase of $15,460 in assessment.

Gary P. Forster, 189 Hillside Lane, East Brunswick Township, market value increased from $89,640 to $112,572 and assessment from $44,820 to $56,285, an increase of $11,465 in assessment.

Barry and Bonnie Schrader, 55 Schuylkill Road, East Brunswick Township, market value increased from $95,900 to $137,924 and assessment from $47,950 to $68,960, an increase of $2l, 010 in assessment.
