Penn Kidder business leaders offered marketing techniques

The Penn Kidder Area Council of the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce sponsored a "Business Card Exchange" mixer and fundraiser at Penn Forest #1 Fire Company.

The event was meant to bring the townships' business people together as well as being a fundraiser for the local food pantry and Penn Forest fire company.The Penn Kidder Area Council is one of six councils of the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce, including Palmerton, Lehighton, Jim Thorpe, Penn Kidder, Weatherly, and Panther Valley.Each one of the councils has a unique marketing area and different marketing needs. Penn Kidder, which covers two townships, is trying to promote the community as a whole by showing people what is unique in their area.The guest motivational speaker for the event was Dina Tulli-Davis of the JumpSpark Creative Group and a member of the Penn Kidder Area Council.
