Thirty-two area residents were among 93 who were arraigned Monday morning in the district attorney's office at the Schuylkill County courthouse on criminal charges and all entered pleas of not guilty and requested trial by jury. Those arraigned were as follows:

Abbott St., Lansford, charged by Coaldale Patrolman Charles Blesse, with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and drugs, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and a summary offense of failing to have a rear lighting system on his car comply to regulations.

Charles Mims, of N. Railroad St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Cpl. Henry Woods, with simple assault and harassment of Jason Weaver at the Tiki Bar.

Dustin Robert Gernert, 28, of 321 Hughes St., New Ringgold, charged by Tamaqua police, with three counts each of delivery of a controlled substance (CS), possession with intent to deliver and possession.

Gino Anthony Cicioni, 44, of 101 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Matthew Bynon, with possession of a small amount of marijuana on W. Rowe St.

Thomas Joseph Gaughan, 49, of 10 N. Kennedy Drive, McAdoo, charged by McAdoo Chief Jeffrey Wainwright, with theft of seven flags donated by VFW placed in planters around borough building. Gaughan also was charged by Wainwright with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness.

James William Kunkel, 29, of 72 Ryan Avenue, Tamaqua R.D., charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Anthony Stanell and Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, with three counts each of delivery of a CS, possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of communication facility and possession.

Jason Allan Weaver, 30, of 219 Market St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Cpl. Henry Woods, with criminal conspiracy, access device fraud of bank card belonging to Amy Wagner, theft by deception and two counts of receiving stolen property by using her bank card to make purchases from two food markets.

Frederick Andrew Postic, 40, of 626 Fairview St., Tamaqua, charged by Rush Township Patrolman Adam Sinton, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and driving on Claremont Avenue while his operating privileges were suspended.

Thomas Charles Rowlands, 62, of 70 Whitetail Crossing Road, Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Thomas Duarte, with DUI, restrictions on having open alcoholic beverage container in car and failing to have proper headlight lighting requirement when stopped on Hunter Street.
