The Panther Valley Area School District's indoor swimming pool will be back in service soon, but on a limited basis, with future operations hinging on what kind of income can be generated by this extra-curricular activity. This was the decision reached by the Board of Education after a lengthy discussion of the issue. The pool has not functioned in recent years because of prohibitive costs. The directors voted 5-3 to permit an after-school fall aquatic program covering a six week period.
