John Patrick Dunne, 60, of 69 W. Ninth St., Jim Thorpe, has been arrested by Jim Thorpe police on charges of forgery and identity theft as a result of the illegal use of a credit card.

Police said they were contacted by New York City police who informed them that a Robert J. Kuzianik reported fraudulent activity on a credit card.Police later learned Dunne used the victim's card to make several purchases on Jan. 25, 2010, including the opening of a Blue Ridge Communications Television account, two Verizon telephone accounts and a Fingerhut account.
