Michael Nestor Jepko, a resident at Heritage Hill Senior Community in Weatherly, is celebrating his 91st birthday on Oct. 30.

Born in Coaldale in 1920 Mike was married to his wife, Mary Agnes, for 41 years until her passing in December of 1986.He has three children, Michael, Weatherly; Joann Keys, Florida; and Mary Lou Cookson, Illinois. He is the proud grandfather of two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Michael is a World War II Army veteran who served in the European Theatre from 1939-1949. He worked on the railroad prior to going in the service and also worked for Mengle Coal & Oil Company for 34 years.Michael is a member of the VFW, the American Legion and Our Lady of Lourdes Church.He enjoys fishing, bowling and gardening.
