Tamaqua man cited three times

A Tamaqua man was cited Sunday, Oct. 23, after causing disturbances at two locations in Tamaqua.

Police were dispatched to the American Hose Company, 39 Mauch Chunk St., at 4 p.m. for a reported unwanted person. Once on scene the officer was told the actor, identified as Jeffrey D. Boyer, 47, of 264 Brown St., had left the premises after police were called.A short time later, at 4:24 p.m., officers received a report on an unwanted person at 105 W. Rowe St. Boyer was found trying to prop himself up against the building in a highly intoxicated condition. After being taken into custody, Boyer became unresponsive and medical personnel were called.Boyer was transported, in the Tamaqua Community ambulance, to St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, where he was examined and released.He was transported to the police station and released at 7:30 p.m. with three citations, two for disorderly conduct and one for public drunkenness.
