People's EC Church, 216 Wagner Street, Lehighton, will host a Trunk or Treat Event, Saturday from 3-5 p.m.

The event gives children, ages 13 and under, the opportunity to safely trick or treat in the parking lot of the Fellowship Hall. Children are encouraged to come in costume.The event is free and open to the public. A rain date has been set for Oct. 30, 3-5 p.m.
