The Carbon/Tamaqua ACS Telethon Committee and Rottet Motors of Tamaqua are teaming up to declare "Fiesta Time."

They aren't talking about chips and salsa. The are referring to a chance of winning a 2012 Ford Fiesta grand prize. Rottet Motors is sponsoring the Ford Fiesta Charity Raffle which will benefit the American Cancer Society Telethon.

Joe Krushinsky, Chairman of the local ACS Telethon, along with Mike and Joan Rottet and Sales Consultant Josh Deesing, of Rottet Motors state their excitement about this new joint venture to raise money to fight this deadly disease. A limited amount of tickets will be sold. By capping the amount of tickets that will be sold, a participant's odds of winning are much greater, enabling any lucky legal-aged driver the opportunity to drive off next year in a 2012 Ford Fiesta.

The Fiesta Kick-Off will be held on Sunday, October 23rd during the Holiday Vendor & Craft Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Coaldale Ambulance Building on Route 209 in Coaldale. People will have an opportunity to check out the Fiesta, be a part of the Kick-Off and receive a commemorative gift for purchasing a raffle ticket that day.

Special events will continue throughout the sales campaign and outside organizations are welcome and encouraged to participate by selling Fiesta Raffle tickets. The show, chaired by daughter/mother team Jess Kutza and Mary Ann Dulaney, is a new event to benefit the 2012 ACS Chinese Auction/Telethon.

Vendors and crafters will be on site at the Coaldale Ambulance Building along Route 209, offering a large array of goods, such as Scentsy, Amway, Premier Jewelry, Thirty-One Bags, Silpada, Tastefully Simple, Longaberger, Sweet Somethings, and more. Baked goods, homemade foods and an indoor raffle will also be available for purchase. For more information about these ACS events, call Mary Ann Dulaney at (570) 645-4228 or via Facebook.
