Two people were arrested following an incident that occurred in Saylorsburg, Monroe County, on Thursday evening, Oct. 13.

According to state police at Lehighton, Theresa Bush, 41, of Saylorsburg; and Joseph Randolph, 19, also of Saylorsburg; were arrested after troopers arrived at 342 Vista Circle, Saylorsburg, to remove a juvenile runaway child.

Bush and Randolph both became verbally combative and caused a passive resistance against troopers to keep the runaway child from leaving.

Both individuals were taken into custody. Charges for obstruction of the administration of law enforcement and persistent disorderly conduct will be filed against the two.
