Rush students learn about air pressure

ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS Rush elementary school students held some of their classes outside recently to learn about air and weather. Students were taught air as a material that takes up space and can be compressed into a smaller space. They also observed the force of air pressure pushing on objects and materials. Mrs. Danelle Kane uses a plastic syringe to show first grade students how air and water pressure affect each other.
