State police at Lehighton reported on nine driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by troopers.

Michael Tekin, 46, of Danielsville, was stopped for several motor vehicle code violations about 10:40 p.m. on Nov. 23 along Maury Road at Long Run Road, in Franklin Township, Carbon County. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest. Charges will be filed, troopers said.

Also on Nov. 23, about 11:40 p.m. troopers stopped Rebecca Boyer, 26, of Tamaqua, along Overlook Drive at Indian Hill Road, in Franklin Township, for speeding and failing to stop for a stop sign. She was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. Charges will be filed.

On Nov. 24, about 2:30 a.m., troopers stopped Chad Dennis Fisher, 28, of 166 Penn St., Lehighton, along SR248 at the Bowmanstown exit for a traffic violation. He failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. Charges will be filed, troopers said.

Also on Nov. 24, about 1:52 a.m. troopers stopped Jeremy Stuckey, of the 100 block of Stedman Ave., Lehighton, for a traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was placed under arrest and submitted to a breath test. He will be charged with DUI, driving on roadways laned for traffic and restraint systems, troopers said.

On Friday, Nov. 25, about 1:39 a.m. troopers stopped Kimm Marie Ahner, of the 2000 block of Long Run Rd., Lehighton, along Canal St., at SR209 in Franklin Township, for a traffic light violation. She was found to be under the influence and was taken into custody. Also found was a small amount of marijuana and a marijuana smoking pipe.

She submitted to a breath test, troopers said. She will be charged with DUI, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic control signals violation.

Also on Friday, about 12:40 a.m., troopers said Jason J. Neace, 35, of Blakeslee, was found standing outside his vehicle at SR209 at Gilbert Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County, at a green light. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI. Charges will be filed.

On Saturday, Nov. 26, about 10:07 p.m. troopers stopped Melissa Danielle Hazen, 27, of Port Reading, N.J., along Fairgrounds Road in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, for several motor vehicle code violations. She was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest. Charges will be filed.

Also on Saturday, about 11:35 p.m., troopers observed a vehicle weaving in and out of traffic in the 5000 block of SR209 in Towamensing Township, Carbon County. A traffic stop was made and the driver identified as Gina Lesette Guerra, of the 100 block of Rolling View Drive, in Palmerton. She was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest. She submitted to a breath test.

She will be charged with DUI, driving on roadways laned for traffic, undeage drinking and minors prohibited from operating a vehicle with alcohol in their system.

On Sunday, Nov. 27, about 2:45 a.m. troopers stopped Ryan Roth, of Lehighton, along Stedman Avenue, at Millway St., Lehighton, for a stop sign violation. He was found to be under the influence and submitted to a breath test, which revealed a .13BAC. He will be charged.
