Summit Hill police are looking for the person involved in the theft of a canoe.

According to borough police, on Oct. 8, officers received a report of a canoe that was stolen from Boat Launch B at Mauch Chunk Lake. The canoe is described as a Solo 13 Mohawk canoe, green in color, 1987 model.Anyone with information is asked to contact Summit Hill police at (570) 645-7429.Police said, a reward has also been issued for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for the theft.
