The Weatherly Area School District Math Team was thrilled to win both a first and second place in the Nov. 8 Bloomsburg University High School Math Competition. More than 50 teams competed. The Weatherly High School Math team won first place in the Brain Teasers competition and second place in the Math Quizbowl competition. The first place prize was a $30 Barnes and Noble gift certificate for each student and a plaque for the high school. The second place prize was a $25 Barnes and Noble gift certificate for each student and a plaque for the high school.
