The Schuylkill County and Tamaqua Borough Per Capita and Occupation Tax Exemption Forms for the year 2012 are currently available for Borough of Tamaqua residents.
The exemption forms can be obtained at the Tamaqua Municipal Building, 320 E. Broad St., Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Forms will also be available at tax collector Alan Kerr's office, the Tamaqua Area School District Administration building, the Tamaqua ABC High Rise, Majestic House Apartment Complex, the Tamaqua Public Library and the Tamaqua Post Office.
Residents must complete the form each year to qualify for the tax exemption.
Exoneration forms must be submitted by Friday, Jan. 27, 2012.
Anna Kleckner, certified lay speaker, will be the special guest at this Sunday's 10:25 a.m. worship service in Calvary Evangelical United Methodist Church.
Sunday school classes meet at 9:15 a.m.
Also on Sunday, an evening of praise, worship and Bible study will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday prayer and praise services are held at 7 p.m. in the church.
The annual old fashioned Harvest and Thanksgiving service will be celebrated on Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m. National Bible Week will also be celebrated.
The Rev. James Cavallero will officiate at the 10:45 a.m. worship service this Harvest Home Sunday in First United Methodist Church. Adult Sunday school will meet at 9:30 a.m.
Activities for next week will include: Tuesday, quilters meet at 9:30 a.m.; Wednesday, Chancel Choir practice at 7:30 p.m.

St. John's Lutheran
The Rev. Phyllis Wolford will officiate at the 9:15 a.m. worship service this Sunday in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Sunday school and Confirmation classes will meet at 10:30 a.m.
Also on Sunday, the Allegro Bell Choir will rehearse at noon.
Activities for next week will include: Monday, Congregational Council meeting at 7 p.m.; Thursday, Messenger assembly at 1 p.m.
The choirs rehearse on Thursdays: Angel Choir at 6 p.m.; Shepherds at 6:15 p.m.; and Chancel at 7:30 p.m.
The Rev. Sunny Stock will officiate at the 10 a.m. worship service this Sunday in Zion Church in the Lewistown Valley. The service will include a children's sermon.
Sunday school classes will meet at 9:30 a.m.
Descendants of the Deem Family met Oct. 8 for a 10th family reunion. The event was held at Knepper's Inn, Snyders. In addition to local attendees from Tamaqua, New Ringgold and New Tripoli, family members traveled from New Hope, Hatboro and Georgia.
