Adult Night Out

H.T.O. Services, a community-based activity center in Lansford, will host an Adult Night Out at 7 p.m. this Friday, Nov. 11.

This fall concert fundraiser will feature two local groups, who will perform for the evening's entertainment. Money raised will help cover the cost of additional programs at the center."Easy Listening" is a vocal group that performs the music popular with Barbershop quartets. Their song list includes such tunes as "Shine On Me," "Down Our Way," "Wild Irish Rose" and "Kentucky Babe." Members of "Easy Listening" are Ronald Beltz, bass; Delroy Steigerwalt, lead; Tom Zimmerman, baritone; and Ed Wassmer, tenor.Following "Easy Listening" will be the duo of "Mike and Jim" featuring Mike Jackson and Jim Cimms. Performing on guitar and piano, "Mike and Jim" will entertain the crowd with chart-topping hits, including "Margaritaville," "On Broadway," "We Danced," "Sweet Home Alabama," "Peaceful, Easy Feeling," and much more from the 1960s through the 1990s and beyond.The price of admission will include soda, ice and snacks.
