State police at Fern Ridge reported on several crashes investigated by troopers.
A crash occurred about 7:45 p.m. on Oct. 31 at the intersection of SR209 at Weir Lake Road. in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Sean M. Dohn, 20, of Kunkletown, was driving a 2008 Toyota Sienna when he made a left turn in front of a 2002 Kia Spectra driven by Kristin M. Piekarski, 22, of Lehighton. Dohn sustained a minor injury while Piekarski was not injured. Troopers cited Dohn for vehicle turning left.
A one-vehicle crash occurred about 3:55 a.m. on Nov. 3 along Interstate 80 in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Christine M. Stevens, 39, of Wind Gap, was driving a 1997 GMC Jimmy eastbound when the vehicle left the road and struck some trees, then rolled over. Stevens sustained minor injuries and was taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment.
Stevens was cited for careless driving, troopers said.
A one-vehicle crash occurred on Nov. 4 at 4:30 a.m. along SR715 in Jackson Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Christopher L. Weite, 28, of Effort, was driving a 2010 Nissan Versa northbound when a deer entered the road in front of him. Weite was unable to avoid striking the deer. Weite sustained a minor injury but did not require immediate medical attention.
Another crash occurred on Nov. 4 along SR209 in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said Dennis E. Pryslak, 45, of Great Meadows, N.J., was southbound while Salvatore Zingales, 59, of Lehighton, was stopped. The front of Pryslak's vehicle hit the rear of Zingales' vehicle.
Zingales was injured and taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
Troopers cited Pryslak for following too closely.
