B. D. Branch, general passenger agent of the Central Railroad of New Jersey, personally conducted the first sigt seeing excursion over the C.R.R. and Reading yesterday from New York with 171 passengers aboard. It remained in Mauch Chunk for 20 minutes during which time most of the pasengers left the train and walked around. Branch, with amplifier , broadcasted the features of the community, rich in Indian lore, navigation and railroad achievements, and peerless scenic effects. Numerous borough officials greeted the visitors.
