Summit Hill Borough Council members are piqued over the non-payment of approximately $3,000 in fines and directed the mayor and police committee to visit District Magistrate Joseph Sverchek regarding the failure to collect the fines. Louis D. Lisella said there are residents of the community who are getting away with not paying fines after being arrested by police for various violations. He said one person owes $2,200 in fines and has ignored them.
