A Minersville man was sentenced for criminal trespass on state game lands in Rush Township and a Girardville man for posting threats on a internet Facebook site. They were among 17 who entered guilty pleas to criminal charges in the Schuylkill County Court and were sentenced by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin.

Shane Carl Bordner, 39, on a charge of defiant trespass on state game lands in Rush Township was fined $75 and ordered to pay $50 to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA) and pay costs of prosecution. Bordner was cited by Trooper Mark Knock.Andrew C. Bakerofskie, 20, on a charge of terroristic threats posted on Facebook, a communication device on the Internet, to Scott and Patricia Yaglieniskie, Frackville, was placed on probation for 12 months, and pay $50 to CJEA.
