A reported road rage incident resulted in Tamaqua police filing charges against a Berks County, man.

Officers were dispatched to the Burger King on Center Street at 5:29 p.m. May 19 for a report of a fight in the parking lot. On scene they spoke with Shawn E. Flaim, 20, of Mahanoy City, and Samantha Durling, 19, of 500 Pine St., Tamaqua, as well as the restaurant manager, Janet Sillers. All three related that a man in a blue Chevrolet Corvette accosted Flaim and Durling, allegedly grabbing Flaim by the throat. The actor left the scene but the witnesses were able to provide a license plate registration number.The license came back to Bryant C. Wiedecke, 47, Barto, who by this time had called 9-1-1 to report being assaulted. Under questioning Wiedecke admitted he had grabbed Flaim and shoved Durling due to a "road rage" incident that had taken place in West Penn Township.Wiedecke was charged with two counts of harassment.
