Coaldale police have released details of a three-car crash that happened at about 7 a.m. Tuesday morning at Fifth Street and Route 209.

A black 1997 Cadillac driven by Louis S. Belovich, 79, of Tamaqua, was pulling out from Fifth Street to travel west on Route 209 and pulled in front of a blue 1994 Ford Explorer driven by Nicole Hill, 38, of Tamaqua. Hill was traveling east on Route 209.

The rear of Hill's car struck Belovich's car on the driver's side rear door as she tried to avoid a collision.

The impact caused Hill's car to strike the front of a silver 2005 Scion driven by Karen E. Vandak, 53, of Coaldale, according to a report released by Officer Scott D. Cramer.

Vandak's car was stopped at the intersection.

Both Hill's and Belovich's cars were able to be driven from the scene; Vandak's car had to be towed.

There were no injuries.
