On Monday, April 18, the Palmerton Lions Club presented Tammy Muniz (second from right) with its Outstanding Service Award at a dinner meeting at the Fireline Hotel. The club president, the Rev. John F. Hanzel, Jr. (right) presented the plaque to her. It read, "For dedicated service in fulfilling the roles of Educator, Motivator, Counselor, Liaison and Humanitarian s Leo Club Advisor." The evening's speaker was Past International Director Robert Miller, (second from left) about Eye Research and Sight Conservation. He was accompanied by his wife, and Lion, Judy Miller, (left.)
