The importance of buckling up before driving was stressed to Weatherly Area High School students and staff members last week, just in time for the senior prom. Weatherly Police Officer Michael Eyer (center) stopped cars leaving the school at the end of the day of May 12, making sure everyone's seat belts were buckled. Weatherly Student Government Association members Derek Fillory and Cody Gerhard handed out safety literature after Eyer spoke with the drivers.
