Two are charged after Carbon stop

State police at the Lehighton barracks said two persons were arrested after police stopped a car at 8:45 p.m. March 13 at the intersection of Oak Street and Route 209 in Mahoning Township.

Police said Leonard Graham, 20, of Hazleton, was stopped for equipment violations on his vehicle and was subsequently found to have a small amount of marijuana inside his vehicle.His passenger, Deshawn Herbert, 18, of Ambler, was arrested after giving police a false name and date of birth.
