Gayle Heath, director of the Tamaqua Public Library, announced the availability of Wi-Fi at the library. Wi-Fi, also known as a hotspot, enables devices such as laptops, personal computers, and smart phones to connect to the Internet. There is no cost for the service. Heath also pointed out the future addition of a wireless printer for library patrons to use. This project has been partially funded with federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds administered by the Office of Commonwealth Libraries. Pictured is Tony Carlino of Tamaqua.
