Katie Sweigert and Ryan Reabold are wed

Katie Sweigert, daughter of Daryl and Kathy Sweigert, Bernville, Pa., became the bride of Ryan Reabold, son of Earl and Jean Reabold of Lehighton on Sept. 25, 2010 at St. Margaret's Catholic Church in Reading.

The Rev. John M. Gibbons, pastor, officiated at the double ring ceremony.Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose her sister Molly Corman of Harrisburg, as her matron of honor. Her sister Megan Sweigert, also of Harrisburg, was the maid of honor.Bridesmaids included Lori Serbel, Lehighton, sister of the bridegroom; Tara Keegan, New York, cousin of the bridegroom; and her cousins Ann Marie Melcher and Chelsea Melcher, both of Wyomissing. The bride's daughter, Alexia Ewing, Bernville, was the flower girl.Greeters were the bridegroom's nieces, Lauren Serbel and Nicole Serbel, both of Lehighton.The bridegroom chose his father, Earl Reabold, as his best man. Ushers included his brothers, Dennis Reabold, Georgia; Todd Reabold, Virginia; and Earl Reabold, also of Virginia; his brother-in-law Michael Serbel, Lehighton; and the bride's brother, Michael Sweigert of Bernville.Connor Corman, Harrisburg, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.Following the ceremony, the couple welcomed family and friends at C.J. Hummel's in Lenhartsville, Pa., before leaving on a honeymoon trip to Disney World in Florida.Prenuptial parties were held at Sapore's Restaurant in Lehighton and in Wyomissing.The new Mrs. Reabold is a graduate of Tulpehocken High School and Kutztown University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in psychology.She is currently employed at the Berks County Youth Center in Leesport.Mr. Reabold is a graduate of Lehighton Area High School and Berks Technical Institute, where he earned a degree in private investigation.He is also employed at the Berks County Youth Center.The newlyweds currently reside in Hamburg.
